I recently received a Chapter 7 case from a California attorney who said she was referred to me by you. I wanted to thank you for the referral. I greatly appreciate it.

I wanted to let you know, that I am working for 3 attorneys; one in Las Vegas, one in Los Angeles and the other in Northern Colorado. All happened in one day. All three are seasoned attorneys but are adding bankruptcy to their practices. Amazing, I did not do any marketing during Christmas and New Years, all three called New Years Eve.

Dear Victoria

When you got home from the hospital last year you revamped the AVBA exam do to the abrupt change in your business structure. It was during this time that I submitted my exam. It was much easier than the first one and I passed with flying colors. I was left feeling that maybe I would not be able to really do the job.

I marketed my skills to five attorneys with a negative response. A friend of the family who is an attorney took about an hour to talk to me, explaining that most law offices in the Reno Sparks area would offer me a job as a receptionist to start, but they normally promoted from within, and I had no experience.

After one year almost to the day I saw an ad on www.craigslist.org an attorney was looking for a bankruptcy preparer. The ad was 20 days old but I answered it any way what did I have to lose. I sent him my resume, then called his office to see if I could drop off an example of what kind of work he could expect from me I took in Schedule A through J. My attorney flipped through 3 pages, handed me back the schedules, and then picked up a folder with a client’s info in it and told me to bring it back when I was done.

I returned with a completed petition for his head paralegal to look at. There were a few things that need to be corrected, but she said she was impressed. I would be efiling on my own in no time.

While I was not successful in selling my business I was successful in getting the job I was looking for. I have my foot in the door and I am working from home as an independent contractor. The experience I am getting will put me in an ideal position to market my skills to other attorneys in my area. I have you and your program to thank for this turn in my life.

I cannot thank you enough for offering the VBA Certification Exam. My life will be forever changed.

Good afternoon, Victoria. Thank you again for your time in this afternoon’s marketing seminar. The level of information you provide within your program is indeed impressive.

Dear Victoria:

Following your marketing video, we did a postcard mail out yesterday to 47 bankruptcy attorneys in Arizona and I got a call from one of them today – praise God! I called her and she is very interested – she wanted to talk to her partner about it, but would like to meet with me next week. She said they average about 10-15 cases per month, and she is currently filing them herself. They are using Bankruptcy Pro at her office. She asked if I can do both 7’s and 13’s – I told her I wasn’t ready to do Chapter 13’s yet, but expected to be ready within about 4 weeks (I had hoped to be ready by now). I have a feeling that they have more 13’s here in the Phoenix area because there are a lot of people with higher incomes that may not qualify for Chapter 7. Thank you again for all you have done to help people get into this field!

Victoria:

Your training materials are excellent. I’ve gone through your training materials twice and prepared a manual for myself. Thank you for making me feel so confident in moving forward. Here is to a successful 2009!

Victoria:

I have been furiously reading your newsletters, emails, blogs, and web conferences about your training for the last 3 months. The information you provide is great but what impress me is your character.

Early last year I began receiving emails from you. I never read them. A few months ago I rec’d an opt-in email from you and I don’t know why, but I opted to continue receiving your emails: remember – I never read not one email I rec’d over the last year, but I opted to continue getting them! Then a couple of months ago I decided to attend a web seminar mentioned on the IVAA listserv.

So, I attended this seminar and immediately had an epiphany! (God does know what he is doing; you only need to trust Him and He will steer you in the right direction.)

Quickly, I joined your training group; purchased several training books and downloaded (the trial) Best Case software. I am so excited because this may be what I’ve been searching for all year: a niche, where I can become “the expert!” The idea of providing bankruptcy petition preparer services appeal to my detail-oriented, number crunching personality. I still work part-time for the IRS (please don’t hold that against me! 🙂 in the IT department – Desktop Support; but for 3 years I worked as a volunteer preparing tax returns for low and/or moderate income families, filing them electronically at no cost. Preparing bankruptcy petitions require much the same skills as preparing tax returns: know the law, know the forms, check your work, and be thorough.

I appreciate your blog posts – it’s apparent you KNOW your craft, the energy you give to your training, and the humbleness you show. I really think you’re the real deal and you’re forthright with the potential, requirements and expectations of this field. My heart went out to you when I read your blog post about the betrayal of “friends” during your illness. And how steadfastly you held onto your faith to start again! Incredible.

Your sister in Christ, Diane B.

Dear Victoria:

I just would like to say that I had just completed my 1-on-1 Training and it was excellent. I was provided with so much information with regards to the petition and marketing that I find to be invaluable. Just would like to say thank you for providing such a helpful resource to those interested in becoming a virtual bankruptcy assistant.

Hello Victoria:

I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed our learning session this evening. It was exhilarating! Now I feel confident that, with some practice, I will be able to get this business going. I am especially excited that I will be able to then hand it over to my son who just recently lost his job at Bank of America; he had been there 10 years in the commercial lending division and was heading up the corporate ladder when he was laid off suddenly. It was quite a shock to him. This will be just the ticket to get him back on his feet! I hope to be back in touch with you soon. Meantime, many thanks again for everything.

Best to you,
Monica P.

Testimonial: Last week, I went to one-on-one bankruptcy petition training in Columbus with Victoria Ring. She is such an inspiration! I already have most of her high quality training materials (both DVD’s and Books). Before I went to training, I wanted to feel prepared. I reviewed my materials and worked with the Best Case software. I HIGHLY recommend this so you can spend time on more than just the basics. She was very helpful identifying my short term goals and my long term goals. We also spoke about putting together a marketing portfolio – she had some very good ideas.
I believe you could start your business by just reviewing her excellent training materials but, since meeting her, I feel I am ready to start. Also, since Victoria has started training online, I know if I needed more one-on-one training, I could easily schedule it. I believe I was probably prepared before I got there but Victoria gave me the confidence to get going!

Recommendation through LinkedIn:

I found that Victoria Ring is very knowledgeable when it comes to the area of bankruptcy law. The information that has been provided by Ms. Ring has been very helpful in my efforts to set up my own Virtual Bankruptcy Assistant business. Some of Victoria’s ideas I have used and with great success.

Victoria:

I was thinking a few days before our training session, that you have grown your business over the last year(in my opinion; like I know to gain so much more visibility that I can see that it is about to snowball into the great abundance that God has promised.

The God of my understanding has opened my eyes to the endless possibilities, and prosperity that you are sharing with us; and I have made a strategic decision and I am ready to move my life forward.

I am so glad that I have met someone that knows to keep God first in all their affairs, and knows that there is a God.

I don’t like to talk about my spiritual beliefs with folks because…people pretend, and I feel hoodwinked when I find out that they really don’t have a clue, which makes wonder…what was their real motive for talking with me in the first place.

Nevertheless, God is Good All the Time.

Dear Victoria: I signed up for your foreclosure seminars. I do not like the fact that you gave a discount on the first and second, but not on the third. This is a rip-off. Also, I do not like it when I call your office and I am not allowed to talk to you. Who do you think you are not answering your own phone? I have a hard time recommending someone like you to other people.

Note to Lemar: Since you are not the President and you are not part of the Board of Directors, you have no authority to dictate our prices. If you do not like our prices then do not order. We do not force people to order from us and you cannot force us to set our prices to the prices you want.

***************************************

Victoria: I do not like that you do not sell Best Case software and you make me go to another company to get it. This is not right and I am not ordering anything else.

Sarah K.

Note to Sarah: We would be arrested if we sold products developed by another company. Please use your brain when sending an email the next time.

Victoria: I emailed you telling you that I wanted you to send me an attorney to work for in the Dallas, Texas area. You did not send me an attorney. I am going to report you to the credit bureau.

SUMMARY

There is not any business that exists that has a 100% approval rate so we are happy to know that our complaint letters are more of a chuckle than a legitimate complaint caused from our neglect. In fact, we recently learned that 713Training.Com has a Better Business Bureau rating of A minus. The complaints listed with the Better Business Bureau have been addressed and our explanations are on file. 713Training.Com wants to know when we make a mistake and we will fix any mistake we make immediately. However, when a customer is not happy with the shipping method we use, the prices we charge or is upset because we do not send them work from attorneys, there is nothing we can do to please them.

I hope you enjoy me sharing the above emails from our valued members, subscribers and customers. Do not hesitate to let us know if you have any suggestions or thoughts to help 713Training.Com improve its products and services. All of our customers are very much appreciated and we care about your satisfaction.

Victoria Ring
President, 713Training.Com
